Creating Success

By ensuring our broad and balanced curriculum is embedded in all aspects of school life.  By providing all learners with the sustainable knowledge they need to support them in their next stage of education and future life.   At Blaise primary and nursery school, our philosophy is founded on ‘believing we can’. We focus on achieving the highest quality, engaging learning and teaching. Through the delivery of a broad, balanced, global and localised curriculum. Adapted and resourced to meet the needs of all learners and create success for all.

By using assessment to effectively inform teaching and learning by ensuring that children retain knowledge, skills and concepts.

By empowering learners to become tolerant, kind, active citizens that care for each other, their local environment and the world.

To work collaboratively to provide all pupils with engaging and enriching opportunities within our curriculum to further embed their learning.

Opportunities for all.

For all our pupils to be ready for the world, the next stage in their education and to be excited by the opportunities open to them. Our aim it to have a fully representative staff workforce, governing body and Parent Teacher Association.

Relationships at heart.

Relationships are central to our approach in supporting our pupils’ social, emotional and mental health development. Our aim at Blaise is to support children to grow as individuals.

At Blaise Primary and Nursery School we value and support the mental health and well-being of pupils, staff and the wider school community.

Developing supportive partnerships.

We work in partnership with other schools, with the NW24 network of schools, local authority and other local clusters and networks. Our strong, constructive and supportive relationships with children, parents and staff are central to our approach.
